YSRCP conducts medical camp at Bodevandlapalle village

                                                    
A mega medical camp with participation of about 25 leading physicians from Tirupati was held on Sunday by 
YSR Congress Party leaders of Chandragiri constituency at the remote Bodevandlapalle village in 

Konathala Ramakrishna, prominent YSRCP State leader was among those who was present at the medical camp where medicines worth Rs.5 lakh was distributed to the patients.
Bhaskar Reddy said that the Formation Day celebrations scheduled for Monday would be marked by a colourful procession in which 1,000 feet long flag of YSRCP would be carried through the main streets of Chandragiri located on the Tirupati-Chittoor highway.

According to Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, former TUDA chairman and a strong contender for the party's ticket in the next elections, at least five thousand people, mostly belonging to weaker and poorer sections from the villages around, attended the camp and received medical attention from a battery of senior doctors.
Meanwhile, TTD's Central Hospital too conducted a Rheumatology super specialty camp in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, for the benefit of TTD employees on Sunday .
A note released by TTD in this connection said that a similar super specialty camp would be conducted in future on every second and fourth Sundays of the month to benefit patients who require treatment for ailments related to lungs, liver, kidneys besides treatment for cancer, obesity, thyroid and so on.
Dr. C. Prabhakar, CMO of TTD Central Hospital said that this apart, a master health check up camp too would be conducted every month for a limited number of staff members in tie-up with Apollo doctors covering cardiology, orthopaedic, gynaecology, ENT, general surgery.

‘Congress will win all seats'

Major Industries Minister J.Geeta Reddy said that the Congress would win all the seats in by-elections.
Earlier in the day, she formally launched a water purification unit at Chapta (K) village in Narayanakhed mandal.
Speaking to reporters at Narayanakhed on Sunday, Ms. Geeta Reddy, who was here to participate in the launching of water purification unit in a village, said that the ruling Congress party only can carve out separate State and it was not possible for other parties. She said that development would also be on the top of priority list to the government. The Minister has also promised that seven-hour power supply would be extended to farmers even during the summer.
This was established by Satyasai Seva Samithi at a cost of Rs.5 lakh to extend purified water to the villagers. These units are being established where fluoride water problem is being faced by the residents. The Minister has commended the services being extended by Satyasai Seva Samithi in serving the people.
Though it was decided to establish water purification units at 108 villages, so far they were set up only in 60 villages.
Lok Sabha member Suresh Shetkar, legislator P.Kishta Reddy and others have participated in the programme.

Hyderabad:Kidnapped boy rescued, abductors detained

A 13-year-old boy, who was kidnapped from Vanasthalipuram on Friday, was rescued by the Cyberabad police on Sunday.

The abductors took him in a car and kept him in their hideout at Miryalguda in Nalgonda district. They later called the boy's father Ramesh, a scrap businessman, demanding ransom. Kidnappers called Ramesh twice from different coin booths and demand Rs.1 lakh from him.
They had also asked Ramesh to hand over the cash to them at Secunderabad railway station. Inquiries revealed that the accused were also involved in chain snatchings.

Three persons involved in the abduction were taken into custody. The accused committed the crime to earn quick money.
G. Manikanta, a resident of NGOs Colony in Vanasthalipuram, was abducted while he was going to watch ‘Ishq' movie.

Andhra Pradesh:Congress Minister in campaign mode on By polls


Anhdra pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Minister Basavaraj Saraiah, who is also the in-charge Minister of Adilabad district, on Sunday undertook door-to-door campaigning in favour of Congress candidate C. Ramchandra Reddy in Adilabad. With folded hands he moved around Dhobi Colony, Khursheednagar and Sundaraiahnagar seeking votes for Mr. Reddy. The Minister has been camping in Adilabad for the last 12 days to oversee his party's campaign in the March 18 by-election to Adilabad Assembly constituency.
