YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy visited Idupulapaya after 18 months and paid homage to his father Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy at his memorial, along with his family members.
He offered prayers at YSR ghat along with his mother and Pulivendula MLA Y.S. Vijayamma, his wife Y.S. Bharati, uncle Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy and other relatives.
Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy and his mother garlanded the statue of YSR.
A large number of party activists and his followers from all over Kadapa and the neighbouring districts converged on Idupulapaya and greeted him. Later, he left for his residence in Idupulapaya, where people and party leaders met him.
MLAs Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, A. Amarnath Reddy, G. Srikanth Reddy, K. Srinivasulu, MLC C. Narayana Reddy, party’s Rajampet Parliamentary constituency in-charge Mithun Reddy and district youth wing president Y.S. Avinash Reddy, sarpanches, PACS directors and members participated.
Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy boarded Venkatadri Express bound to Hyderabad at Yerraguntla railway station on Tuesday night.
