ANANTAPUR: Kadapa MP and YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, here on Friday, said he will appear before the court on May 28. Speaking to Express during the election campaign in Gummagatta mandal of Rayadurgam constituency in Anantapur district, Jagan Reddy said he was a law abiding citizen and would respond to the court summons.
“As for the speculation over my arrest, why would I be arrested. What crime have I committed. Can I be arrested because I am a political rival of the ruling party?” he asked.
Referring to the freezing of accounts, he said, "How atrocious! The bank accounts of Sakshi group were frozen today for the investments made four years ago. It is nothing but a vindictive act.”
He said both Congress and TDP have colluded with each other and some media organisations to malign him. "They do not want any other political party gain a foothold in the state,” he said.
