Jagan campaigns in Allagadda

Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, president of YSRCP and MP, launched his election campaign in the crucial Allagadda constituency on Tuesday.
He addressed meetings at Govindapalli, Sirivel, Venkatapuram, Yarraguntla, Perur, B. Naidupalli and other places and was scheduled to reach Allagadda for night halt.
At Sirivel, fighting groups greeted Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy causing some confusion. YSRCP supporters hailing from Boyelakuntla and Kotapadu clashed and beat up each other in an inebriated condition.
Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy, who was suffering from a sore throat, tried to communicate to public through gestures and finished his speeches in five to ten minutes. He drew good response all along the route even though it was stronghold of Congress nominee Gangula Pratap Reddy.
Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy said the Congress and the TDP would pay a heavy price for launching a vilification campaign against him and would lose deposits in the election. He said many media houses had received benefits from the government when the TDP was in power.
