Congress gave political life to YSR, Jagan ditched it: DS

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) former president D. Srinivas expressed regret that Y.S. Vijayalakshmi was spreading canards against the Congress party which made her husband APCC president twice, leader of the Opposition and Chief Minister in 2004 and 2009.
Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy was an undisputed leader of the masses but his meteoric rise would not be possible without the high command's blessings.
Addressing media persons at Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana's residence here on Tuesday, Mr. Srinivas said it was Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy who ditched the Congress party which was dear to his father.
After parting ways with Congress, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy showed the ruling party in poor light for reaching his personal goals.
His mother and sister are now carrying the baton with which they hoped to beat the Congress during the ensuing by-elections.
The MLAs who switched loyalties to YSR Congress would realise that theirs' was a wrong step. Mr. Lakshminarayana too sounded confident of the ruling party's performance
