TDP, Congress forging ‘tactical' alliance: Jagan

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy has called upon the people to vote for M. Sucharita in the ensuing by-election. She deserved re-election as she sacrificed the MLA post for the welfare of farmers and poor people, he saod.
Addressing a meeting during ‘Odarpu Yatra' in Prathipadu constituency on Monday, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy wanted Ms. Sucharita to be re-elected with a huge majority as she quit the post for a cause.

The two main parties would not miss the slightest of opportunity to misuse the official machinery and resort to other tricks to secure victory for their candidates, he alleged.
They were not averse to playing petty politics, which they had been doing for the last couple of years.
In contrast, the YSRCP focused on people's issues and has been fighting for their welfare, he said.

He hoped that the electorate would teach a befitting lesson to parties which have thrown ethics to the winds for selfish motives.
“Congress and TDP are trying to forge a tactical alliance for the by-elections as they don't have the courage to take on YSRCP which has been fighting for the well-being of farmers and downtrodden sections'', Mr. Reddy said.
