Moving a censure motion against Team Anna in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday evening, JD(U) president Sharad Yadav launched a scathing attack on the Team for their derogatory language against the members of Parliament.
Sharad Yadav criticised the anti-corruption activist for selectively targetting the parliamentarians. He said that Parliament has the strength to check the corrupt MPs.
The Lok Sabha Speaker had earlier in the day deferred the motion against the Team Anna as the ruling and the opposition members appeared divided over the resolution.
Congress MP Jagdambika Pal also moved a privilege motion against Team Anna.
Sources within the opposition National Democratic Alliance (NDA) had indicated that after taking the lead against the Team Anna on Monday, the BJP seems to have developed a cold feet.
