YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jaganmohan
Reddy launched his by-election campaign in Macherla constituency on
Monday with an appeal to the electorate to vote his party candidate
Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and thus teach a lesson to the Congress and
the TDP which indulged in petty politics.
Addressing a
public meeting at Kotthur village, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy said Mr.
Ramakrishna Reddy sacrificed his MLA seat knowing well that voting in
favour of the no-confidence motion, moved by the TDP, attracts
disqualification which happened after much dilly-dallying in the ruling
party.
Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy quit his post in the interest of the poor people, particularly farmers and hence deserved re-election.
The Congress and the TDP would play all the tricks to defeat the YSR Congress Party .
If
people want development and ethical politics, they have no alternative
except to vote the YSRCP, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy asserted.
